EZ DRIVE CAR RENTAL POLICY

AGE POLICY

Renters must be a minimum of 25 years of age and have held UK or EU Driving license for at least 2 years. You may rent if you have less experience or are 23 years or older but with prior approval from our insurers. Please contact our reservation centre for more information.

BUSINESS HOURS

• EZ Drive do provide a 24 hour contact less service but bookings for out of hours must be made during business hours.

• A fee will be applied to your contract at the time the vehicle at the time of your booking.

CANCELLATION

• We ask that you give us a 72 hour notice for any cancellation.

• If you are unable to cancel your reservation within this 72 hour window you will be charged one full day with the charges made to the card provided to us at the time of your booking.

CDW – COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER 

• All our vehicles are covered by a Fully Comprehensive Insurance policy but do have a £1500 Excess in case of a collision or damage.

• Renters may purchase Zero Excess Waiver which relieves them of all financial responsibility for loss or damage to the Rental vehicle as long as they comply with the terms of the rental agreement.

• The CDW will not cover windscreens or tyres.

DEPOSIT AND EXCESS

• On all standard bookings customers are liable for £1500.00 excess unless excess waiver is taken out.

• We have a zero deposit scheme which allows you to defer your deposit for a small fee. The excess will still remain as £1500.00 but no deposit will be taken.

ACCEPTABLE PAYMENT METHODS

• All Major Credit/Debit Cards Accepted.

• All Credit/Debit Cards must be valid and must match the renters Drivers License.

DRIVERS LICENSE

• All drivers must have a valid UK or EU driver`s license in their possession to rent a vehicle. The original license will be verified via our online ID check in service once you have made a booking.

• For all UK licenses a DVLA check code is also required and must be uploaded during your check in.

• For all EU licenses an up to date proof of motoring convictions or endorsements are also mandatory and must be uploaded during your check in.

• The renters drivers license must be valid for the entire rental period and, renters must be a minimum of 25 years of age and have held UK or EU Driving license for at least 2 years.

EQUIPMENT

No Brand Guarantees - EZ Drive Car rentals does not guarantee specific brands or colors of vehicles at any time. If the vehicle that you reserved is not available, an alternate or upgraded vehicle may be assigned at management discretion.

Special Services - Child Safety Seats are available at this location with a minimum of 24-hour advance booking. The cost of the Child Safety Seat is £10.00 per day. Since availability at times is limited, please reserve child seats in advance.

FUEL

Fuel must be returned with same amount rented out. A fuel charge will be charged at the end of the rental otherwise.

MILEAGE

All vehicles are subject to excess mileage fees dependant on the allowance selected at the beginning of the booking. This will be charged at 0.29 pence per mile.

ONE-WAY

Currently One Way Rentals are not available and all vehicles must be returned to the booking location.

OVERSTAY

- Contract Rates -

• If your vehicle is needed beyond the due date stated at the time of the opening of the contract, the customer MUST inform the rental office immediately. The rate is subject to change.

• When a vehicle is reserved and rented, the confirmed rate is only good during that specific time period. Any extension, or revision of the original reservation of any amount of time will result in a rate change.

• Rates are not pro-rated.

TRAVELING OUTSIDE COUNTRY

We do not permit travel outside of the United Kingdom.
