It’s a gateway to Eastern Europe and a popular entry point for visitors heading to the Bulgarian mountains or cultural sites. The airport features two terminals with increasing modernization and public transport access via metro.

Additional Driver RequirementsEligibility
All additional drivers must meet the same minimum age and driver’s license requirements as the primary renter.
Drivers must present a valid, government-issued driver’s license in their own name at the time of rental.
Temporary or learner’s permits are not accepted.
Registration
Additional drivers must be listed on the rental agreement at the time of pick-up.
No unlisted driver may operate the rental vehicle under any circumstance.
Fees
An additional driver fee may apply for each driver added to the rental agreement.
Spouses or domestic partners of the primary renter may be exempt from additional driver fees, where permitted by law.
Restrictions
Additional drivers must comply with all rental terms, conditions, and local traffic laws.
The primary renter is fully responsible for all actions of additional drivers, including damages, accidents, and violations.
Insurance
Additional drivers must be covered under the renter’s insurance or the rental company’s protection plan if purchased.
Failure to disclose an additional driver may void insurance coverage in the event of an incident.
After Hours Returns
After-Hours Pick-UpAdvance arrangements must be made for any vehicle pick-up outside of normal business hours.
Customers are required to provide full payment information and a valid driver’s license prior to authorization for after-hours release.
Vehicle keys may only be collected from designated secure locations approved by the rental company.
After-Hours Return
Vehicles may be returned outside of normal business hours using the designated key drop box.
The renter remains responsible for the vehicle until it has been inspected by rental staff during the next business day.
Mileage, fuel level, and vehicle condition will be recorded at the time of inspection, and any additional charges (e.g., refueling, damage, late fees) will be applied accordingly.
Liability
The renter is responsible for the vehicle until it is officially checked in by rental staff, even if returned after hours.
The company is not liable for theft, damage, or loss that occurs after the vehicle is returned but before it is inspected and closed in the system.
Restrictions
After-hours returns are not permitted at all locations; renters must confirm availability before scheduling.
Vehicles left outside of designated return areas may incur additional fees or remain under the renter’s responsibility until properly received.
Coverages
Mandatory CoverageAll rental vehicles include the legally required third-party liability coverage as mandated by local law.
This coverage provides protection against bodily injury and property damage to third parties but does not cover damage to the rental vehicle itself.
Optional Protection Plans
Renters may purchase additional protection at the time of rental, including but not limited to:
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) – Reduces or eliminates the renter’s financial responsibility for damage to the rental vehicle, subject to exclusions.
Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) – Covers both collision and theft of the rental vehicle, subject to terms and conditions.
Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) – Provides limited medical coverage for the renter and passengers in case of injury during the rental period.
Personal Effects Coverage (PEC) – Provides limited protection against theft or loss of personal belongings from the rental vehicle.
Exclusions
Coverage will not apply in cases involving:
Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other substances.
Use of the vehicle in violation of the rental agreement (e.g., off-road driving, unauthorized drivers, commercial use).
Negligence, reckless driving, or intentional damage.
Failure to secure the vehicle (e.g., leaving keys inside, unlocked doors).
Deductibles & Limits
Coverage may include deductibles, which are the renter’s responsibility in the event of a claim.
Coverage limits are subject to the terms outlined in the rental agreement and/or insurance policy documentation.
Renter’s Responsibility Without Coverage
If no optional protection is purchased, the renter is fully responsible for the full value of damage to or loss of the rental vehicle, plus any related costs (towing, loss of use, administrative fees).
Proof of Insurance
Renters may use their own personal auto insurance or credit card coverage if it extends to rental vehicles.
Proof of coverage must be presented at the time of rental, and the rental company reserves the right to verify eligibility.
Cross-border Restrictions
Travel Outside National BordersRental vehicles are not permitted to leave the country of rental without prior written authorization from the rental company.
Unauthorized cross-border travel will result in breach of contract and may void insurance coverage.
Pre-Approval Requirements
Renters must request cross-border travel at the time of booking or prior to vehicle pick-up.
Approval is subject to the company’s discretion and may require additional documentation.
Additional Fees & Insurance
Cross-border use may incur additional fees.
Renters may be required to purchase specific insurance coverage valid in the destination country.
Restricted Countries
Vehicles may not be driven into certain countries due to insurance, safety, or regulatory restrictions.
A current list of restricted countries is available upon request and must be reviewed by the renter before travel.
Responsibility of the Renter
The renter is fully responsible for any fines, penalties, or costs arising from cross-border violations.
In the event of a breakdown or accident outside the country of rental, the renter may be responsible for all recovery and repatriation costs unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Driving Restrictions
Authorized Drivers OnlyOnly the renter and approved additional drivers listed on the rental agreement are permitted to operate the vehicle.
Allowing unauthorized individuals to drive the vehicle is a breach of contract and may void coverage.
Geographic Restrictions
Vehicles must be operated only within the approved geographic area as specified in the rental agreement.
Cross-border travel or driving into restricted regions requires prior written authorization.
Prohibited Uses
The rental vehicle may not be used for:
Off-road driving, unpaved roads, or any terrain unsuitable for the vehicle type.
Racing, speed testing, competitions, or driving instruction.
Transporting hazardous materials or illegal goods.
Ride-sharing, taxi services, or commercial passenger transport unless expressly authorized.
Towing, pushing, or moving other vehicles, trailers, or objects.
Condition of Driver
Drivers must not operate the vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance impairing driving ability.
All drivers must hold a valid driver’s license and comply with local traffic regulations at all times.
Vehicle Care
Renters must take reasonable care of the vehicle, including locking doors, securing keys, and using proper fuel.
Smoking and transport of pets may be restricted in certain vehicles; cleaning fees may apply for violations.
Consequences of Violation
Any violation of these driving restrictions may result in termination of the rental agreement, loss of coverage, fines, and full financial responsibility for damages or losses.
Financial Policy

Debit cards, prepaid cards, and cash may be accepted at select locations, subject to additional conditions.
Full payment authorization is required at the time of rental.
Deposits & Authorizations
A security deposit will be held on the renter’s credit card for the duration of the rental.
The deposit amount varies based on vehicle class, rental duration, and insurance coverage.
Unused deposit funds will be released upon vehicle return, subject to bank processing times.
Rental Charges
Rental charges are calculated based on the agreed daily, weekly, or monthly rate plus applicable taxes and fees.
Additional charges may apply for mileage overages, late returns, fuel replacement, tolls, damages, or traffic violations.
Refunds & Adjustments
Unused rental days are generally non-refundable once the rental has commenced, unless otherwise required by law.
Early returns may not result in a rate adjustment.
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed to the original form of payment.
Responsibility for Charges
The primary renter is financially responsible for all costs incurred during the rental period, including those resulting from additional drivers.
Any unpaid balances may be referred to collections and could result in additional administrative or legal fees.
Currency & Conversion
All charges are processed in the local currency of the rental location.
Renters are responsible for any foreign transaction fees or currency conversion charges imposed by their financial institution.
Local Traveller Restrictions
EligibilityRentals may be limited or restricted for local residents of the city or region where the rental location operates.
Proof of residence (e.g., utility bill, ID card, or other documentation) may be required for verification.
Deposit & Payment
Local renters may be subject to higher security deposits or additional payment requirements.
Debit cards, prepaid cards, or cash deposits may not be accepted for local rentals.
Mileage Limitations
Rentals to local residents may include reduced or limited mileage allowances.

Cleaning & Vehicle Condition

Excessive dirt, damage, or interior mess may incur cleaning or repair fees.
Roadside Assistance
Basic roadside assistance is provided for mechanical failures and breakdowns.
Assistance for accidents or issues caused by driver negligence may incur additional costs.
Lost or Stolen Items
The rental company is not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle.
Renters are advised to secure all valuables and remove them from the vehicle upon return.
Vehicle Return
Vehicles must be returned at the agreed location and time.
Late returns may incur additional rental charges, even if the delay is minor.
Compliance with Local Laws
Renters must comply with all traffic regulations, parking laws, and toll requirements.
Any fines, penalties, or legal actions arising from violations are the responsibility of the renter.
Modifications to Policies
The rental company reserves the right to amend policies at any time.
Updated policies will be communicated via rental agreements or the company website.
Pick-up Instructions
Upon arrival at the airport, the renter must call our office at +359 89 987 2860.A company shuttle will be dispatched to collect the renter from the designated pick-up area and transport them to our rental office.

Age RequirementsThe minimum age to rent a vehicle is 20.
Renters under the age of 20 may be subject to a young driver surcharge.

Eligibility Restrictions
